As we dive into the summer , it ’ s important to keep in mind Borough Ordinances relative to the season .
General Reminders
• There should be a clear space of twelve ( 12 ) feet between the street pavement and tree limbs above .
• No parking on your grass .
• Speaking of , mowing season is in full swing , so please remember that grass should be kept below 12 ".
• Vehicles not kept in a garage should have a valid license plate and current inspection .
• Garbage should be placed at the curb no earlier than 12 noon the day before pick-up ( Friday ).
• Garbage cans and recycling bins shouldn ’ t be stored in the visible area .

• Please remember to keep your dog leashed . It is against Borough Code for the owner of any dog or dogs to allow or permit such dog or dogs to run at large within the Borough of Pleasant Hills . Furthermore in regards to barking , it shall be unlawful for any person to harbor , care for , shelter , control , or maintain any breed of dog or dogs or other animals in such a manner so as to disturb or duly annoy any reasonable person of normal sensitivity through the animal ’ s noise , smell , mischief , or other harmful propensities .
• All houses are required to have their address displayed . Think of it this way , will the police , fire department or ambulance be able to find my house quickly and easily in the middle of the night ?
