JESSICA TAIMUTY
Steel Center Recipient
At the Senior Awards Ceremony held on Friday , May 21 , 2021 at Steel Center , Cosmetology Senior , Jessica Taimuty , was the named the Chamber of Commerce of West Jefferson Hills scholarship recipient . Some of Jessica ’ s accomplishments and awards are as follows :
• Top of the Shop
• Three Extra Effort Awards
• Student of the Month at Steel Center and Thomas Jefferson
• PA license in Cosmetology
In addition to these awards Jessica is also a member of the Thomas Jefferson High School A-Capella choir . Jessica is currently working as a stylist and assistant at LAB Salon and Eyebrow Studio in Castle Shannon . Congratulations Jessica !
MAANSI SHAH
Thomas Jefferson Business Recipient
• Will be attending the University of Pittsburgh , studying International Business .
• Courses taken in high school : Software Applications , Exploratory Business , Accounting , Incubator , Personal Finance , and Marketing .
• Attended Business Opportunities Summer Sessions offered through Penn State .
• Attended Camp Business offered through Drexel University .
• Volunteered at Coffee Tree Roasters Cafe located within our high school .
Maansi always gives her best effort when completing her schoolwork , submits stellar work on classroom projects , is very reliable , and always challenges herself by stepping outside of her comfort zone . I have also had the pleasure of working with Maansi as a member of the Mock Trial Team . Congratulation Maansi !
