Borough and Library Work Together to Provide Programming for Children Questionnaire Responses Requested On May 16, the Library hosted a kickoff event and picnic dinner for local families whose children will attend the Library’s Summer Reading Program and the Borough of Jefferson Hills Summer Recreation Program. Parents registering their children for the programs were asked to fill out a survey requesting their input on future programming and summer child care needs especially during the summer months. To participate in this survey, pick up a form at the Library desk. We appreciate your input as we continue to work to make Jefferson Hills Library the center of community education and programming. Sharon Abercrombie and Caitlin Moyer Dinardo registered children for the Summer Reading program that began on June 18. There are still plenty of days left in the program that runs until the last week of July, so register today! Kaitlyn Vigna, who directs the summer recreation program at Gill Hall for 5-8 year olds, enjoyed meeting the families of the children who will attend the program on July mornings. The 9-12 year olds who will attend summer recreation at 885 Andrew Reilly Park were happy to hear about some of the exciting plans that director Bob Marlow and his staff are making for the program this July. A table filled with snacks and treats to take home was the hit of our summer programming registration evening. 62 WEST JEFFERSON HILLS Check-out a FREE Staycation at Jefferson Hills Library!
