The West Jefferson Hills School District is looking for individuals to
become substitutes in a variety of roles within the District. Take a look
below to see which role fits your skills and talents!
Cafeteria Workers: Preparing and serving lunches to students in all
district schools, during school hours
Custodians: Light cleaning, trash removal, sweeping in all district schools,
most commonly in the evening hours
Lunch-time Helpers: Oversee elementary students during lunch periods and recess
Para Educators: (Associate Degree or 60 college credits required) Serve as an
aide to help individual students or in classrooms at all schools
Nurses: (Registered Nurse Degree required) Provide nursing
services in all schools
Secretaries: Provide clerical services in all schools
Teachers: (Teaching Certification or Bachelor’s Degree
required.) All grade levels and certifications
Gold Cards for
WJH Seniors
All community members aged 65
and over, or retired due to disability
(regardless of age) are entitled to
receive a Gold Card for free admittance
to all school-sponsored events. Stop
by the administration building or
fill out the form on our website at
www.wjhsd.net/Community. All it
takes is a few minutes and you will
have your card immediately. Show your
Gold Card to enjoy all home, regular-
season sporting events, band and
choral concerts, musical productions,
and plays free of charge! Please call the

Real Estate Tax
Collection Reminder
Due to the changes in the real estate tax
collection as adopted by the West Jefferson
Hills School District, all community members
must pay their school district real estate taxes
by December 31st of the calendar year to
avoid delinquency and additional penalties.
