A famous portrait of George
Washington hangs in Borough
Council Chambers after presentation
to the Borough by Mayor Jan Cmar at
a recent Council meeting.

Association, the group that has
owned and operated George
Washington’s Mt. Vernon in Mt.
Vernon, VA for the past 150 years.
The Association is dedicated to the
preservation of the home of the first
president and educating the people
of the world about his life and legacy.

The Jefferson Hills Recreation Board hosted the 15th Annual Fish for Fun day on May
14 at our beautiful Peters Creek. Although it was a cold and rainy day, a determined
group of young fishermen and their families enjoyed the fishing, prizes, and lunch.
Thanks to everyone who participated and we will hope for better weather next year!
