REWARDING COMMUNITY SPIRIT AND ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE
The Jefferson Hills Recreational Initiative Scholarship honors two graduating seniors from Thomas Jefferson High School who have demonstrated both academic achievement and a commitment to serving their community. Each year, one male and one female student receive a one-time $ 1,000 scholarship to put toward their post-secondary education.
Eligible applicants must be residents of Jefferson Hills, maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA, and show dedication to community service. The application process includes a general information form, a high school transcript, a 500-word essay describing their impact on the community, and a recommendation from a teacher, guidance counselor, coach, or program director.
