REFLECTING ON A YEAR OF ACHIEVEMENT

As another school year begins, the West Jefferson Hills School District is proud to reflect on the many accomplishments that made 2025- 2026 a year to remember. While our focus is on the exciting opportunities that lie ahead, it’ s equally important to celebrate the achievements that continue to strengthen our tradition of excellence.
Throughout the past year, our students excelled academically, earned state and national recognition, demonstrated leadership through service, and showcased their talents in the classroom, on the stage, and in athletic competition. These accomplishments are a testament to the dedication of our students, the commitment of our staff, the support of our families, and unwavering investment of our community.
As our district continues to earn recognition for academic excellence, we are especially grateful for the partnerships that
enrich learning and expand opportunities for our students. Organizations including but not limited to The Grable Foundation, the Braddock Battlefield History Center, AHN and the Chill Project, Pirates Charities, and Parents as Allies – just to name a few – help create authentic experiences that extend learning beyond the classroom and strengthen our Jaguar community.
As enrollment continues to grow, so do our expectations and aspirations for every learner. Together, with the support of our families,
West Jefferson Hills School District proudly participated in this year’ s Community Day parade, celebrating school spirit and community pride. The Thomas Jefferson High School Marching Band energized the crowd with their outstanding performance, while members of the WJH Alumni Network and the Foundation for Education had booths at the event showing their continued support for students and schools.
District administrators also joined the event, connecting with families and highlighting the strong partnership between the schools and community. It was a great day to celebrate what makes WJHSD such a special place to live and learn.
