HISTORICAL SOCIETY CRAFT FAIR
Don’ t miss the West Jefferson Hills Historical Society’ s Fall Craft Fair on Saturday, Oct. 3. It will take place at the Jefferson Hills Municipal Building Community Rooms from 10 a. m. to 3 p. m.
More than 20 crafters will be featured, offering unique items and handcrafted creations including art, wreaths, crochet, jewelry, holiday decor, designer wine bottles and much more! For unique gifts, the fair will offer one-of-a-kind items by true artisans. There will also be a raffle and snack bar available for treats and eats.

PATRIOTIC GARDENS
The Pleasant Hills Garden Club held a contest for the most patriotic garden in Pleasant Hills, with its Garden of Distinction— Let Freedom Bloom edition.
Yards, porches and outdoor spaces were decorated in red, white and blue to celebrate Community Day and America’ s 250th birthday! The winner’ s front garden is pictured here.

With Veterans Day on the horizon, it’ s a great time to honor the tremendous sacrifice of all of our veterans and servicemembers.
Operation Troop Appreciation( OTA) helps servicemembers deployed anywhere in the world, either in combat or on humanitarian missions, as active duty, reservists or U. S. National Guard. Its valuable assistance provides items needed or requested by the troops.
OTA also helps veterans who are transitioning back into civilian life, which can be a very stressful time. OTA can ease the transition and provide practical and emotional support.
