Our Mission: Recent Events NETWORKING-PIZZA ON THE PATIO On Thursday, May 23, 2019 at Primanti’s Brothers in Pleasant Hills members met for a networking opportunity. Members were able to enjoy salad and pizza while meeting with others to network. The weather was wonderful for an outside event which was held on Primanti’s outside patio. Scholarships DOMINIC C. MARTINO Steel Center Recipient Dominic graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School this past spring in the Class of 2019. He was enrolled in the HVAC, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning, at Steel Center. Some of Dominic’s accomplishments are scoring advanced on the NOCTI Exam, earning an EPA 608 Universal Certification, Steven Shaulis, Dominic Martino, Kevin Rice and earning a PA Skills Certificate. Dominic participated in work-based learning in 11th grade for Schneiders Dairy and in 12th grade for AJ Buerkle Heating and Cooling. He will begin employment immediately following graduation at Calfo Mechanical. CONNOR DALTON Thomas Jefferson Business Recipient Monday, November 11, at Thomas Jefferson High School CHRISTMAS PARTY Connor is a graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School Class of 2019. He is a very well-rounded business student, taking most of the courses offered at TJ. He has been a member of FBLA and a scholar athlete. His work ethic and responsibility to complete the task at hand is impeccable. Connor gives 100% effort every time. Instead of taking the easy way out in his senior year, Connor chose to culminate his time at TJ by taking the newest class, Incubator, to be a part of a group of students who would develop a product and pitch it to a group of investors. Connor is a very polite young man with aspirations in business and is wished much success. Connor plans to attend Robert Morris and earn a degree in Actuarial Science. The monies for the scholarship are generously donated by Eastman Chemical in Jefferson Hills. Congratulations to both Dominic and Connor.
