Computer Classes
Basic Microsoft Office

September 10, 17, 24, 6:30 to 7:30
This class will be taught in three one hour sessions and will
include WORD, PowerPoint and Excel. Students may use the HP
All-In-One computers at the Library or bring their PC laptop to
class. This class is limited to eight students so please register
early on the Library’s Event Keeper.
Introduction to the Computer
Instructor: Stan Wojtunik
Tuesday Evenings October 1, 8, 15, 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
This class is for students who have no experience working
with a PC at all. The very basics of the computer will be taught,
including how to set up your new computer, use of the keyboard
and mouse, how to create and edit a document in WORD, how
to set up an email account, search the internet for information,

Computer Tutor appointments are for personalized one-
on-one help with a specific computer need or information
search on your PC. Call and leave a message at the Library on
412.655.7741 and we will schedule a 45 minute appointment at
your convenience for a Tuesday or Thursday appointment. You
can either bring your PC or use one of the computers available at
the Library.

Healthy Minds: A Three Part Behavioral
Health and Wellness Workshop

The mind and the body are truly connected and daily
habits like sleep, eating, exercise and even thinking have an
impact on our mental wellness. The purpose of the Healthy
Minds Workshop is to improve overall wellness through the
opportunity for learning, practicing and reflecting upon the
connections between the body and the mind. Read more about

Instructor: Barb Herforth
The Creative Bumblebee returns to Jefferson Hills Library to
help us create one of these four fall designs. When you register,
let us know which design you prefer by noting your choice
beside your name. Your registration will be complete when the
Library receives your check for $40 made out to Jefferson Hills
Library.

Jefferson Hills Area Ambulance and
Elizabeth Township Area EMS, is an
accredited training institute with the
American Health and Safety Institute
offering CPR and AED training for
adults, children and infants. ASHI’s
CPR and AED training course is
designed specifically for laypeople,
and is an excellent choice for CPR and
defibrillator training in both community and workplace settings.
This extremely flexible program will help prepare individuals to
respond to sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) and choking incidents.
This CPR and AED course conforms to the 2015 AHA Guidelines
Update for CPR and ECC.
