substitutes in a variety of roles within the District. Substituting in the West
Jefferson Hills School District allows you to support the education of our
students while enjoying a flexible work schedule. Take a look below to see

Cafeteria Workers: Preparing and serving lunches to students in all
district schools, during school hours
Custodians: Light cleaning, trash removal, sweeping in all district schools,
most commonly in the evening hours
Lunch-time Helpers: Oversee elementary students during lunch
period and at recess
Para Educators: (Associate Degree or 60 college credits
required) Serve as an aide to help individual students or in
classrooms at all schools
Nurses: (Registered Nurse degree required) Provide
nursing services in all schools
