In July, Borough Council, Mayor Jan Cmar and the Borough Administrative team said thanks and farewell to Linda Essey who retired after almost 30 years of service to Jefferson Hills. At the July meeting, Council President Chris King presented a personalized crystal recognition award to Linda Essey to thank her for her “Sincere Commitment and Excellent Performance to the Borough of Jefferson Hills.” Council members and staff then took turns thanking Linda for her work over the years as Administrative Clerk, and more recently Borough Treasurer, Borough Secretary and Assistant Secretary. “You have gone above and beyond the call of duty… many thanks,” said Councilman Frank Sockman. “You truly loved and enjoyed your work, and we wish you all the best,” said King. Linda was honored with a proclamation by Mayor Jan Cmar at the Council meeting for “loyal and dedicated service to the residents of Jefferson Hills.” Administrative team clerks hosted a farewell luncheon for Linda. l-r: Toni Lewis, Meghan Daily, Larissa Wampler, Linda, Sherry Trbovich.
