Our teens were a great help in the
summer reading program this year!
“Hey I remember this one!” TJ High School
football players in the children’s section of the
library choosing books they will read to the kids.

this very successful program called
“Tail Waggin Tutors.” That’s Chloe who
came to listen to the children read and
she loved the great job the kids did!

program is
designed to
show what
bulbs you
can plant
for year round blooming indoors
and outside. It will cover fall and
spring planting as well as the
tender bulbs. This program will
give you all you need to know to
start your bulb garden this fall
with plenty of time to answer
your questions.
Flavor Your Life: Growing
Your Own Herbs and More
Thursday evening, November 10
6:30 to 8 p.m.
Instructor: Joan Kugler
We will begin by selecting the
herbs you are going to grow. The
course will include examples of
some popular varieties for use in
your kitchen and outdoor garden.
We will learn how to preserve
herbs for use later by freezing
and drying. The presentation will
include some great recipe ideas
using your home-grown herbs.
