On the second Sunday of each month there is free admission
at the Erie Art Museum! Visitors are invited to take a tour of
a featured gallery with a museum educator and participate
in an exhibit‑based art‑making activity, often with the help
of a visiting artist. Explore the galleries, make meaningful
connections to the artwork and build cool creations to
take home. Visitors can become sculptors, filmmakers,
photographers, animators, dancers and more with projects that
are cool enough for kids and still intriguing for older ages. Visit

PRESQUE ISLE LIGHTHOUSE TOURS

See a spectacular view of Lake Erie! Located near Beach 8,
the Presque Isle Lighthouse is the second oldest lighthouse
on Lake Erie’s shore. For 141 years it has been used as a
residence, most recently for park staff. Climbing the 78 steps

TOM RIDGE ENVIRONMENTAL CENTER TOUR

The gateway to Presque Isle and Lake Erie, and home to
one of the most stimulating and memorable experiences in
Pennsylvania, the Tom Ridge Environmental Center is an
educational center at heart. It is dedicated to teaching visitors
about the unique 3,200 acres of Presque Isle and the different
forms of life that inhabit the peninsula. Be sure to climb (or
take the elevator) to the top of the tower for a great view of
Presque Isle and Waldameer Park next door—and don’t forget
