Plants and animals on the peninsula

April 7, experience these natural
wonders of the past and present by
viewing interactive and interpretive
exhibits of old photographs, newspaper
Great Backyard Bird Count
Bird watchers of all ages are invited
to the TREC, Saturday, Feb. 16, from 9
a.m. to noon, to contribute to real-time
science research by helping count the
birds visiting the feeders. No fee or
registration required.
Fireside Talk: Mini Beasts
During this family-friendly program
the focus will be on the small critters
that often go unnoticed. Meet inside
the Rotary Pavilion. An indoor fire
will be provided for warmth. No fee or

PA Biodiversity Teacher Workshop
Preserving the air we breathe and
the water we drink is mandatory to
maintaining our quality of life. This
teacher workshop at the TREC is open

Hope Cemetery – Service held at the
Hope Cemetery Veterans Memorial, “Old
George,” beginning at 10:30 a.m.
June 1, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.: Small
Business & Craft Show – Live music, local
small businesses and crafters, raffles, and
activities for all ages.
