Asbury Woods Maple Festival
Dates: April 6 & 7
Address: Asbury Woods,
4105 Asbury Road, Millcreek Township
Contact: asburywoods.org, or
814.835.5356
A celebration of a heritage unique to
the region. Visit the working Sugar Shack,
where Asbury Woods produces maple
syrup from sap collected from trees on
the property. The Maple Festival is a
chance to pass on area traditions to visitors
with tours, demonstrations and living
history activities while fostering a deeper
understanding and appreciation for how
nature has a practical application and
impact on our lives. Plus, enjoy a pancake
breakfast topped with nothing other than
100% pure maple syrup! Visit the website
for more information.
Erie MicroBrew Fest
Date: April 6
Address: The Brewerie at Union Station,
123 West 14th Street, Erie
Contact: eriebeerfest.com
The original and longest-running craft
brew festival in the region. This year’s brew
fest will feature 30 select breweries. Brewers
will be able to slow down and take the time
to talk to you about their beer, if you want
to learn more, and every brewery will also
bring a rare beer—something unavailable
at a bottle shop or grocery store. Visit the
website for information on purchasing
tickets and other details.
