This is Erie’s annual celebration of
the beauty and diversity of trees in the
arboretum. The festival features activities
for all ages and interests including a tree
scavenger hunt, crafts for kids, educational
exhibits, local organizations providing
information and hands-on activities, food
vendors and many other family activities.
Chinese auction tickets will be for sale
throughout the day and the drawing will be
held toward the end of the event. Proceeds
from the Chinese auction will benefit the
LEAF Education Center. This event is free
and open to the public.

festival! From its modest beginnings in
1981 as a small street fair to the exciting
regional event it is today, the Wine Country
Harvest Festival—affectionately known
as WineFest—has continued to improve
with age, just like fine wine. WineFest
encompasses two parks: Gibson Park, one
of the original downtown festival venues,
and Gravel Pit Park, the largest festival site.
Attendees have the opportunity to sample
100 different wines, enjoy the sounds of
dozens of entertainers, try their luck at
grape stomping, and meander through
hundreds of exhibitor tents. For more
