Let’s bust some online myths using Snopes, learn about website reliability, and find out how you can make sure your computer is secure from online attacks. • Espy Post Field Trip Saturday, Nov. 9, Time TBA The Andrew Carnegie Free Library is home to one of the last remaining Grand Army of the Republic Posts left in the country. The Espy Post is one of the most intact GAR posts in the country. Not only does it house invaluable artifacts, but the room itself provides a unique historical record of the first part of the century. Transportation not provided; meet at the library in Carnegie. Presented in conjunction with the historical society; RSVP to [email protected]. • Gingerbread House Workshop Sunday, Dec. 1, 1:30 to 3 p.m. or Monday, Dec. 2, 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. The annual Gingerbread House Workshop is one of WACL’s longest standing traditions. All ages and skill levels are welcome, but please make sure to bring a can of frosting, a cookie sheet or baking pan to build on, and a sweet treat to share with your friends! The library will provide all of the building materials and the instructions. As space is limited, please register participating children online, and include what decoration you are bringing. • Star Wars Party Saturday, Dec. 7, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. We are so excited for the release of “The Rise of Skywalker”!
