Tour this Civil War time capsule! The Capt. Thomas Espy Post
153 of the Grand Army of the Republic served local Civil War
veterans for over 54 years and is the best preserved and most
intact GAR post in the United States. Take an up‑close look at
the room where veterans of the Civil War m et from 1906 until
the late 1930s. Marvel at the post’s original Civil War furnishings
and artifacts including weapons, books, prints, flags and more.

Check out this charming cabin, built in 1825, on a tour by
appointment! Set in beautiful Robin Hill Park, the cabin was
built in Washington County by a Revolutionary War veteran
and was dismantled and moved to the park in 1975. The Moon
Township Historical Society and Moon Parks and Recreation
maintain the cabin and host community events there throughout
the year. While at the park, don’t forget to view Robin Hill
Center, the former Robin Hill Mansion, and the beautiful
