FOR 2020 DISABILITY
& MENTAL HEALTH
SUMMIT
Online registration for the 2020
Disability & Mental Health Summit is
now available.
With close to 70% of Pennsylvanians
with disabilities not in the workforce,
employment will be a major focus of the
summit.
Registration is available at
disabilitysummit.com. There is no cost to
attend sessions or the resource fair.
This year’s event will again offer
continuing education credits for
educators, social workers, lawyers,
rehabilitation counselors and ASL
interpreters. An administration fee is
required for each credit, but otherwise
the event is free for anyone to attend.
Additional information on credits can
be found at disabilitysummit.com/
continuing-education.
A limited number of exhibitor spots
remain open, according to host State
Rep. Dan Miller, D-Allegheny. Any
organizations wishing to have a table
should apply online.
Miller noted that the summit has
made a difference in the lives of
thousands of people.
“This year,” he added, “we celebrate
the 30th anniversary of the passage of the
landmark Americans with Disabilities
Act, along with offering more than 40
informative sessions and hundreds of
exhibitors for those in attendance.” n
