For over 25 years, Chef Jason Capps has been a recognizable figure in Pittsburgh’ s hospitality scene. As founder of Bella Sera Event Villa in Canonsburg, he’ s hosted more than 1,100 weddings and countless celebrations, earning the trust of thousands across the region.
These days, Jason spends half the year in Italy, where he holds dual citizenship and calls the rolling hills of Lucca home. From there, he curates and hosts Jason’ s Journeys— boutique travel experiences through Italy’ s most captivating regions.
Since 2017, Jason has creatively crafted immersive, all-inclusive trips for small groups of travelers who crave more than sightseeing. In 2020, during the heart of the pandemic, Jason met Kelly Rodavich, who soon joined as co-host. Together, they now lead several chef-curated adventures each year, each one intimate, inspiring, and deeply personal. They make the perfect team, complementing one another’ s strengths. As a travel agent, Kelly handles logistics details like flights, transportation, and accommodations, while Jason is the visionary“ Chief Experience Officer” with all the connections.
