For more than 33 years, Greater Washington County Food Bank, a nonprofit organization, has been providing groceries and nutritional information / education to food-insecure residents of Washington County. It is estimated that the county currently has more than 25,000 people who are food insecure. There is a network of 45 distribution sites and seven agencies.
