has represented exceptional care for over 30 years. The multi
discipline practice was founded by Steven R. Crandall D.M.D. in
1985 when he set out on a mission to provide comprehensive care
to his patients and their family members. Dr. Crandall has dedicated
himself to practice and teach dentistry at the mastery level to
ensure the patients he and his team treat receive the most aesthetic,
comfortable, functional, and long lasting dentistry that is possible.
We are proud to offer the community of Pittsburgh an
extraordinary dental team comprised of Steven R. Crandall DMD,
Karen. L. Johnson DDS, William S. Poling DDS, and Richard A. Covatto
DMD. These four doctors share a philosophy of care, to help patients
achieve lifelong dental health and tooth preservation through
utilizing the latest advances in dental restorative, implant placement,
and TMJ therapy technology. Each of the South Hills Dental Art’s
locations produce the industry’s highest quality on-site fabrication of
all-porcelain CEREC restorations. All locations use 3D radiographic
imaging for digital implant planning and guided implant placement
which allows for the highest success rate and most predictable results
when is come to implant integration and restoration. Additionally,
they have the ability to diagnose, analyze and treat TMJ and Bite
Force complications through the use of the digital occlusion (bite)
analysis technology, TekScan. This highly recognized concept is a
key component to establishing harmony in patients’ jaw joints and
preventing dental restorations from being subject to problematic
circumstances after placement.
