As the newest member of the UPMC women’ s health service line, the care we offer at UPMC Washington reflects the standards and expertise patients have come to know and expect from UPMC Magee-Womens.
Increased access to numerous women’ s specialty services is now available in the Washington County region through UPMC Magee-Womens. Whether in person or through a video visit, it’ s easier than ever to find the expert services you need.
In addition to routine ob-gyn care and labor and delivery services, here is a look at what’ s now available for women in our community.
Gynecologic Cancer Treatment
Cervical, endometrial, and ovarian cancers are three of the most common cancers that affect women. Patients in our region who are diagnosed with gynecologic cancer can receive treatment from two specialists who know the area well: gynecologic oncologists Jamie Lesnock, MD, and Mackenzy Radolec, MD. Both Washington County natives, Dr. Lesnock and Dr. Radolec offer consultations and perform procedures at UPMC Washington.
Working closely with UPMC Hillman Cancer Center, UPMC Magee-Womens gynecologic oncologists offer advanced surgical care, chemotherapy management, and long-term survivorship planning.
Ob-Gyn Ultrasounds
Meadows Landing and Greene County outpatient centers provide dedicated ob-gyn ultrasound services for women’ s health patients. Ob-gyn ultrasounds provide images of pregnant patients’ unborn babies and are also used to help diagnose conditions affecting the female reproductive organs. UPMC Magee-Womens providers read all ob-gyn scans, providing a high degree of expertise.
UPMC Magee-Womens Virtual Care Center
From gynecologic oncologists to maternal-fetal medicine specialists who care for women with high-risk pregnancies, the list of women’ s health experts available in person at UPMC Washington is growing. However, patients don’ t always have to leave home to see a specialist.
