Nico & Jazz Grundy 4th Graders at The Odyssey Preparatory Academy 1. Tell us about Odyssey Preparatory Academy? How long have you been going there? I have been going there for five years now since kindergarten. 2. What is the coolest thing about your school? The coolest thing is that in P.E. you get to play dodge ball and sprint tag, and I hang out with my friends. 3. You just started playing Football this year? Tell us about this. Do you like it so far? Yes, I love playing football. The best part about it is that you get to tackle people and I learn that if you play hard and try your best, you can earn a jersey. 4. What position do you play? Middle line backer and safety. 8. How do you feel about being in the same grade as your younger sister? I feel kind of weird because a lot of times, some of my friends think that because my sister is only 8 years old, they think that she should be in 3rd grade. 9. Who do you look up to in your life right now? My friends K.J, Alec, and Nick because they are always there for me, they help me, and they always stand up for me. I also look up to my mom because she is always there for me, she loves me, she feeds me, she takes good care of me, and she says the prayers with me every night. I also look up to James, my step dad, because he is funny and nice, respectful and loyal. I also look up to my sister Jazz because even though we fight sometimes, she is still very nice and if I need help, she helps me, shares with me, plays with me. 5. Do you play any other sports in school or club sports? I do play kickball and track and field. 6. Tell us about one of your favorite teachers? My mom is my favorite teacher because she teaches me more than other teachers. Mrs. Caufield is also one of my favorite teachers because she makes math easy. Nico 7. What do you aspire to be when you grow up? When I grow up, I want to be a principal in a school so I can deal with the “bad” kids and give them warnings and referrals. Jazz 4. How do you feel about being in the same grade as your older brother? I think it is a pain because we are always fighting and we always see each other a lot during school. 1.
