Boys and Girls Club Member of the Month
E
very month, two star members of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro
Phoenix Tri-City West/Thornwood Branch are declared Members
of the Month. The winners show good character, community
involvement and academic success.
This past October, honorees were 12-year-old Anthony and 7-yearold Annabelle.
Anthony has made great strides since he began at the Club
— he has become a great role model to other members and
earns A’s and B’s in all of his classes. Anthony is such an
inspiration; he was even this month’s FOX Sports Character
Counts Kid of the Month!
Annabelle always arrives with a smile and a positive
attitude. If you see her in the Club, you know she will
be helping the staff and encouraging her friends to get
involved in the daily activities.
As outstanding Club members, Anthony and Annabelle were
honored with a short assembly and a display at the front of the
Club will showcase their accomplishments.
