HILARIOUS. SPONTANEOUS. ALL AGES COMEDY SHOWS EVERY FRIDAY AND SATURDAY NIGHT! Rainbow Loom Madness Written by: Dominick Sirianni I f you kids are like mine, rubber band bracelets may have filled your shopping lists this year. It doesn’t seem to matter if they are boys or girls - if they are under ten, they’re addicted to the Rainbow Loom.  7:30 & 9:45 Showtimes $12–$14 Tickets 1111 S. Higley Road, Gilbert I took comfort in knowing our eight year old Connnor was into something other than video games. We support his Rainbow Loom addiction. We wear the bracelets he gives us and keep him stocked with supplies. I’m even planning to help him upload a YouTube video of him showing kids how to use them. At eight, he doesn’t think he’s really accomplished anything unless he has his own YouTube video of it. Connor is a very process-oriented kid. That’s a nice way of saying he displays subtle tendencies some people would define as OCD.  I think the process of putting together rubber band bracelets appeals to him. He looks at it like a puzzle. I like the engineering aspect. First you do this, then you do this, then you use your tool to take a third step. Do that several times and you have something of value. It’s a learning tool for us. If your in a similar boat here’s a helpful hint - the $.99 stores have the best deal on extra rubber bands and S clips. If your kids really take to this, you’ll need to find extra bands and clips to keep them building. Z He looks at it like a puzzle. I like the engineering aspect.
