I have worked on twelve different charity events since I was eight years old. Some of which include: 1st Way Pregnancy as to which I collected 37 cases of diapers, wipes, car seats, shampoos, Desitin, clothing, and bottles. I also collected 89 blankets and towels for the Humane Society so the animals had something warm to lie on while they rested. Trinity Wirt 5th Grader at Bethany Christian Q. What is the best thing about Bethany Christian School? A. I just love the teachers here and I think they are all trying to push you to do your best. I like that. I think the music is really good here because I love to sing. I’ve also never been in band, so it was cool to learn about band. Q. You are such a good singer! When did you start singing? A. When I was little, my mom would always play music in the house. I started memorizing songs when I was really young. I didn’t sing perfectly, but I did sing.   Q. What is your favorite song to sing? A. I have a lot of songs I like to sing, but if I had to pick one, it would probably be “Healing Is In Your Hands.” It’s not really a song you hear on the radio, but I really like the song. I usually sing it for talent shows. inthezona.com Q. Which one has been your favorite? A. My favorite organization that I have worked with has to be Locks of Love! I have donated my hair for this organization three times and absolutely enjoy more than anything else to help a child who is suffering from cancer or hair loss. I have always wished to see the beautiful person with their wig! Q. What do you want to be when you grow up? A. My dream when I grow up is to be a famous photographer so I can capture the beauty of people! I always photograph the sunsets and love to look at my work and know that I have captured something amazing! Q. What position do you play in Basketball? A. Depending on the team we are playing, I play point guard or the small forward position in basketball. I have been playing for 4 years at the Chandler Gilbert YMCA. Q. Tell us your involvement with your Church play? What is it about? What is your role? A. Each year our church has a Christmas program. This year, I will be saying three verses from the bible talking about the birth of Jesus. I will also participate in singing five Christmas songs along with other kids in the program. Q. What is the hardest rubberband bracelet that you have made? Do you use one or two looms at a time? A. I am working on a triple rubber band necklace for my mother. I usually use one loom.
