Q: Your work has been published in a lot of bead magazines, and it is well know and used by many jewelry artists. Do you have a next goal you want to accomplish?

I am always thinking about the next design. I have a love deep love of photography. I have a few ideas that would be fun books, but I never seem to find the time. I'll keep journaling my ideas and maybe one day they will come to fruition.

Q: If you were not a bead artist, what would you be doing?

Painting or drawing. Something creative for sure. Maybe combining a few more of my passions! I've wanted to learn metal smithing for as long as I can remember! That would be a hoot!

Q: Do you have a life motto and if so, would you like to share this with us?

Never give up! That and “Don't tell me what to do!” I am pretty stubborn!

Q: Do you have tips, tricks or advise you like to share with us?

Do what you love. Everyday even if you can only fit in 10 minutes of what ever that is into your day. Make room for your passions. Keep paper and pencil handy for ideas. I always use my phone for taking notes or capturing ideas with the camera. Send yourself an email so you don't forget that cool idea you had. I also set up reminder alarms for things during the day. I tend to get distracted by the little things, so I set up reminders to drink water of all things, because I will forget and get miserably dehydrated! You can set up reminders to be creative too.
