Matt’ s inspiration for the fundraising campaign came from how a“ pair of jeans become a reflection of your life.”
“ A raw denim jean is just like a blank canvas, the more you wear them the more character they show, with fading, distress, rips and tears all telling a story.”
The toughest day for Matt came when he found himself as the only person not wearing shorts at a summer festival during a heat wave.
“ People thought I was crazy. On the plus side, my legs never got sun burnt.”

Matt, who hasn’ t washed his jeans since he started wearing them,(“ most denim lovers will tell you that you shouldn’ t wash your raw denim jeans,” he says) naturally gets asked if they get on the whiffy side.
“ This is the question I get asked the most and usually I invite the asker to smell for themselves!“ Having worn the jeans throughout summer, they haven ' t always been at their freshest," he admits.
