you go for cleanings, check-ups, implants and more.
Owned by Dr. T.J. Ameredes, DDS, Advanced Dentistry’s

School of Dentistry, Dr. Ameredes is a staunch believer in continuing

a Board-Certifi ed Implantologist through the ICOI (International
Congress of Implantologists).
“The offi ce’s mission is to provide a high-quality comprehensive
approach to dentistry,” says Dr. Ameredes. “Our patients’ oral health,
comfort, and dental experience are our primary concern. We’ve
incorporated the latest technology and techniques to provide that high
standard of care for all ages of patients. Advanced Dentistry is a true
family practice that provides a majority of dental needs under one roof.”
In addition to implants, Invisalign and pediatric dentistry, Advanced

Dentistry and all services under the comfort of a sedation option.
The growing practice is very proud to have brought in Dr. David
Mascio, a graduate of Walsh University outside of Akron, Ohio, and the
University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, where he received
his DMD. Dr. Mascio, who’s known Dr. Ameredes for quite some time,
ran his own general dentistry private practice in Ohio. When he heard
that his friend was looking for another doctor, Dr. Mascio closed his
doors and moved to Pittsburgh to answer the call.

and maxillofacial surgery, and TMJ analysis. It is also an excellent
tool for diagnosing sleep apnea, ear, maxillary sinus, and respiratory
tract diseases. Cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) is a game
changer when it comes to dental radiographic imaging, allowing
greater understanding of patients and moving imaging beyond pure
diagnosis to include planned treatment simulations and image-
guided treatments. The offi ce also uses a TRIOS scanner to take
impressions that would otherwise be completed with an impression
material.
In addition to the equipment on the inside, Advanced Dentistry is
undertaking a complete exterior renovation to the building, which
will give the structure the modern, fresh look it warrants as well as
contribute to the neighborhood feel of the practice.
“The practice will be going through a complete overhaul,” says Dr.
Ameredes. “Our focus is the patients. We feel if we provide the right
environment and treat those patients as we would like to be treated,
then we are successful.”
The renovation is in keeping with the practice’s belief in being a
good neighbor in the community, a belief that’s behind its sponsoring
of local sports teams, community days, DARE programs and more.
It also works with any active or veteran military service members to
ensure their dental care is as aff ordable as possible within the varying
plans.
