There are several additional
activities that will be
upcoming for the students
in the year that include
enhancing their mapping
skills, designing 3D-printed
SFMS Challenge Coins,
and building their own
submarines and submerging
them in the pool.
All of the cups will take a dive on the
U.S.S. Pittsburgh and be returned to the
students later in the year. The students
may be surprised at what their cup looks
like upon return, but their returned
cup will come with a lesson involving
scientific principles. There are several
additional activities that will be upcoming
for the students in the year that include
enhancing their mapping skills, designing
3D-printed SFMS Challenge Coins, and
building their own submarines and
submerging them in the pool. The team
of students and staff members also hope
to be visited (even if only virtually) by
Captain Deichler later in the year.
