school Halloween dance to benefit Animal
Friends…members of both the South Fayette
Middle and Intermediate School Lion Hearts Clubs
have begun the year ready to make a difference in
the community.
Lion Hearts is also collaborating with Beverly’s
Birthdays to host a Birthday in a Bag and Birthday
Gift homeroom competition for grades 3 through 8.
Beverly’s Birthdays is a Pittsburgh based non-profit
organization with the mission of providing
BIRTHDAY CHEER for children experiencing
homelessness and families in need. Needed
supplies have been assigned point values and the
homeroom who accrues the most points will win a
field trip to Beverly’s Birthdays for a special party.

The SFMS Lion Hearts Club continues to maintain
a partnership with Genesis Rehabilitation and
Country Meadows and visits with the residents on a
monthly basis.
