PITTSBURGH YOUTH CHORUS TO PRESENT‘ A GRAND NIGHT FOR SINGING’ CABARET
The Pittsburgh Youth Chorus( PYC) will present its Grand Night for Singing cabaret on Tuesday, June 2, at 5:30 p. m. at Greystone Fields in the North Hills( Gibsonia).
This lively, family-friendly event will showcase the talents of PYC’ s young performers in an evening of solo and group numbers spanning a variety of music styles.
The cabaret will also feature special guest artists, including Scott Blasey, Steven Brault, Isabel Valasek and Liz Berlin, adding star power to an already exciting program.
Founded in 1981, the Pittsburgh Youth Chorus is dedicated to providing high-quality vocal training and performance opportunities for young singers throughout the region. Under the direction of Dr. Christine Jordanoff, it continues to inspire confidence, creativity and a lifelong love of music.

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE SERVICES OF SWPA EXPANDS COURTHOUSE SPACE
Domestic Violence Services of Southwestern Pennsylvania( DVSSP) recently expanded its space inside the Washington County Courthouse to better support survivors seeking Protection From Abuse orders.
The updated, trauma-informed environment includes a private waiting area, a children’ s space and on-site advocates, helping individuals navigate the legal process with greater safety, dignity and support.
DVSSP works to end domestic violence by empowering survivors, raising awareness, and creating safer communities. Serving Washington, Greene and Fayette counties, it offers a 24 / 7 helpline, emergency shelter, legal advocacy, therapy, housing services, prevention education, and community outreach. All services are free and confidential.

PITTSBURGH IS‘ STEPPING OUT TO CURE SCLERODERMA’ ON JUNE 6
The second annual Pittsburgh Stepping Out to Cure Scleroderma walk will take place June 6 at McClelland Pavilion in North Strabane Township, bringing together patients, families and supporters to raise awareness and funds for the rare autoimmune disease.
Hosted as part of the National Scleroderma Foundation Mid-Atlantic Chapter’ s efforts, the event is expected to draw hundreds of participants and build on last year’ s success with a goal of raising $ 35,000.

SENIOR SOFTBALL LEAGUE SEEKS NEW PLAYERS
The South Hills Senior Softball League organizes games for players 55 and older.
Interested people can get information on whether there is still time to register by emailing shssleague @ yahoo. com.
The league, formed over three decades ago, attracts more than 150 players each year. Games are typically played at fields in South Park, Pleasant Hills, Baldwin, Brentwood, Bethel Park and Pittsburgh. One division of the league plays on weekday evenings while the other plays on weekday mornings. Teams in both divisions normally play twice a week.
“ Our players get a chance not only to rediscover a game they love, but also to join a strong community of friends,” says Ron Sullivan, commissioner of the league. n
