The robot design awards recognize teams that design and develop a mechanically sound robot that is durable, efficient and highly capable of performing challenge missions. “It was exciting for the team to represent Pittsburgh at an international event and the best part of the competition was witnessing different teams showing a lot of imagination and creativity,” said Parv. Thus far, the team has had a very successful two seasons, winning a Champions trophy every year of competing in western PA. The second FLL season of the Robo Disruptors team culminated with this championship. The team spent several months working together and it has been an amazing journey of discovery and learning that will last a lifetime. approaches. (resurface entire road in conjunction with utility restoration work). The Robo Disruptors, a local First Lego League (FLL) robotics team, attended the FLL Razorback Invitational International Championship, which took place May 1922 at the University of Arkansas campus, Fayetteville, AR. Team members who attended the tournament are Nav Shrivastava and Parv Shrivastava. At this three-day tournament, 72 Grand Champion teams from all around the world were invited. “It was a super exciting experience to meet the teams from so many countries,” said Nav, who is the youngest team member. The Robo Disruptors were awarded the Second Place Robot Design Award at CALLING ALL YOUNG SINGERS IN THE SOUTH HILLS AREA!
