All of these skills combined made for an invaluable experience that mirrors expectations in business and the real world. Covering the food preparatory and service area, from the seating plan to the actual menu, the students presented researched-based ideas, as well as ideas that are not even on the market yet. They included artwork, a fully designed app, a studentproduced commercial, and 3-D visual representations of their plan. In all, they created a presentation that was a sum of their strengths and knowledge. It was an outstanding representation of our students, staff, and educational programming as they prepare for the next steps and their future pathways.
South Fayette Middle School students taking part included 6th grade students Hriday Chauhan, Anisha Ganesh, and Zoe McCoy; 7th grade students Cecilia Coll, Emma Francis, Marija Gupta, and Sahishnu Hanumolu; and 8th graders Haley Allcorn, Sid Khajanchi, Katlynn Kyle, Priya Matreja, and Spruha Vashi.
