This 475-acre park is one of those beautiful outdoor spaces that make Upper St. Clair such a great place to live. From birdwatchers, to nature lovers, to athletes, this park has it all for spring. Go for a hike on one of the many wooded trails, catch frogs by a stream, or enjoy a picnic with family. Take the kids on the playground, or check out the community garden for inspiration and ideas. Get out this spring and experience history right next door! This park features 59.57 acres of farm and woodlands, including a 1.25-mile mulched trail for walking, hiking, jogging and cross-country skiing. Native trees such as white ash, American beech and sassafras, some of which may be over 400 years old, can be seen while enjoying the trail. The park surrounds the adjacent 15-acre Gilfillan Farm, which was left to the Historical Society of Upper St. Clair by the late Margaret Gilfillan and is open to the public for special events, or by appointment.
