A global perspective , a personalized approach .

AHN Dr . Noah Rindos — a gynecological surgeon who specializes in treating patients with fibroids , pelvic pain , and endometriosis — knows no two patients are alike . “ Each one has a unique set of circumstances that we can ’ t predict based simply on their age or ultrasound findings ,” he said . “ It ’ s about listening to the narrative of what ’ s going on at that point in their life . Understanding what their goals are and what successful treatment is to them .” His approach to patient care is also shaped by the year he spent in Rwanda , teaching physicians how to do C-sections and administer obstetrical care on behalf of the nonprofit Partners In Health .

“ So much of medicine is universal . While techniques and resources may be a little different , everyone is pursuing that same goal of a happy , healthy family and a high quality of life that ’ s as free of symptoms as possible ,” he said . “ We ’ re fortunate to live in a time when we have so many resources to offer our patients . It ’ s just a matter of making sure patients know what they are so they can make an informed decision .”

Coming soon : The Melanoma and Skin Cancer Center .
