SHALER TOWNSHIP FIRE POLICE ASSOCIATION IS NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS !
New member training consists of emergency vehicle operations course , basic fire police , advanced fire police , and HAZ-MAT awareness training . Members are provided the required traffic control clothing , and safety equipment .
Both men and women are encouraged to apply for membership . Sharps Hill VFD www . sharpshillvfd . org Annual Turkey Bingo Sunday , November 21st at 1 PM Reminder that fire vehicles need at least 8 feet between parked vehicles on our streets to get thru , please stagger your parking and advise your holiday guests of the same .
Fire Prevention week has passed but it ’ s a good reminder on checking the batteries and manufactured date your smoke and carbon monoxide detectors . Replace as needed .
Final reminder to have a safe holiday and if the power goes out , be smart in trying to stay warm .

SHALER HAMPTON EMS It ’ s been an exciting Summer at Shaler Hampton EMS , culminating in the arrival of 2 new ambulances ! More than 2 years ago our staff began working on the design with focuses on patient and crew safety , easy access to the tools our teams need to provide great care and comfort for our patients . Our new LifeLine ambulances will serve our patients very well over the next 7 years . And then the module on the back will be removed and mounted on a new chassis and completely updated – at a cost savings of more than $ 76,000 each . They were funded through several sources including generous
community support and one of that was 100 % funded through a federal grant .
