6th Appraisal Fair:“ Digging Up the Past 5” Coming to SNHL soon!
An annual opportunity to have family heirlooms and collectables appraised by experts. An appraisal fee serves as a donation to the SNHL Children’ s Department. This educational and informative program is in partnership with the Heinz History Center via the History Center Affiliates Program( HCAP) of which the library is a member.
Touch-A-Truck FUNdraiser Sunday, August 5 from 11 a. m. to 2:00 p. m.
( No Horn Zone from 11:00 a. m. til noon) Come and sit behind the wheels of police cars, construction trucks, and more. For $ 5.00 per person($ 20.00 per family) you can climb aboard all kinds of things that go! Children under 2 are free.
10th Annual Car Cruise! Saturday, August 11 at 5:30 p. m.

Metal Detector Now at Your Library
Our newest item to borrow is a metal detector! If you’ ve always wanted to try this hobby out, you’ re now able to borrow one on your Library card. We also have a telescope for you to borrow!
KIDS & FAMILIES: ROCK & ROLL THROUGH THE SUMMER AT THE LIBRARY!
Summer Battle of the Books! Fun for the whole family. Prizes! Funky junk! A good time! Gather together in groups of 2 to 6 people, including at least 1 grownup. You’ ll read four books in your group and then get together with the other teams to battle it out! Suggested for those going into grades K-6. Registration is limited and will open on Monday, June 25. Book titles will be revealed and books will be available for pickup on June 25. The Battle will take place on Friday, August 3 at 6:30 p. m.

Fairy House Making Party Friday, June 15 at 7:00 p. m.
The Shaler Garden Club will help you make your own fairy house. This annual event includes fairy games plus crafts & treats! Children must be accompanied by an adult. No registration needed.
Playdoh Family Fun Nights Tuesdays: June 19( Backyard Bugs), July 24( Under the Sea) and August 14( Yummy Yummy Picnic) from 7:00 to 7:45 p. m. The whole family can have fun making objects with Playdoh!
