Northland Public Library Foundation will host food trucks in the parking lot, a popular fundraising opportunity that leaves many patrons hungry for more. Starting in May, Tasty Trucks @ Northland will be available every first and third Thursday of the month. A different food truck vendor will be featured on those Thursdays with a portion of the profits going toward Northland Public Library Foundation, which helps to provide ongoing financial support for Northland Public Library. Many visitors also bring their own telescopes to take advantage of viewing conditions at the site. Others use the occasion simply to view the stars and planets with their own eyes.
