NEW WATERSLIDE: The old slide was over 20 years old. After all those years of fun and exposure to chlorinated water, the structural support of the slide had deteriorated. This winter the Township spent over $ 155,000 for a new water slide. The new slide will have an improved staircase and promises to deliver as much fun as the previous slide.

2018 SEASON PASS & RATE CHANGES: There have been some changes to the season pass options and daily admission rates for the 2018 season. Although daily admission rates will remain fixed for residents and non-residents, the weekend daily rate will be reduced from $ 11.00 to $ 10.00 for adults.

NEW IN 2018

Early Bird Application Discount of 5 % submitted by April 15: The Township will offer an early bird discount for all pool applications submitted by April 15th. Requirement for the applications remain the same as 2017. Applications may be submitted via US mail or dropped off at the Township prior to this date. Applications may be picked up with photo ID after May 10th. Please be advised that acceptable photos may be downloaded from your smart phone and printed on plain paper for submission. If you are applying in person at the Township offices, you may submit the photos to the Township via email at the time of application. We will print these photos for inclusion on the pass.

POOL PASSES AVAILABLE AT THE TOWNSHIP OFFICES:

• Weekdays from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

• Wednesdays, May 23 and May 30 from 8:00 AM to 7:30 PM.

POOL PASSES AVAILABLE AT CRAWFORD POOL:

• Saturdays, May 26 and June 2 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The Township will have staff on site at Crawford Pool to issue season passes. All necessary documentation must be present for all members listed on the application if you wish to obtain your season passes at the pool.

NEW THIS YEAR Resident Family Fun Day Pass – These passes are available for up to 4 or up to 6 people. The purchaser of this pass must be a verified resident of Shaler Township. However, the users can be non-residents or other relatives of the primary pass holder. No photo ID is required for use of this pass. However, the pass will only be good for one a day use at the pool.

Four Person Fun Day Pass 4 members of family or guests $ 20.00 Six Person Fun Day Pass 6 members of family or guests $ 30.00

This new pass option will allow grandparents to bring their visiting grandchildren to the pool for a day of fun, without having to pay the daily admission price. Shaler residents will also be able to purchase this pass to allow their children to bring friends and relatives to the pool without paying the daily admission rate. These passes must be purchased at the Township offices during normal business hours.

SHALER SEADOGS: The Township has approved a nonresident Shaler Seadog pass at a reduced rate of $ 95.00 for the season. Applicant must be listed on the Seadog registry for a discounted season pass rate.
