Senior Expo
September 28 , 2018 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM Allison Park Church , Hampton 2326 Duncan Avenue State Senator Randy Vulakovich and State Representative Hal English will be co-hosting their annual Senior Expo . The Expo will include informational booths geared toward senior citizens and their families or caregivers . Exhibitors will range from state and federal agencies to local non-profit organizations that provide services affecting the health , safety and welfare of senior citizens . Light refreshments will be provided and the event is free to residents of the community . Free health screenings will be provided . In addition , every effort will be made to provide free flu vaccinations to senior citizens age 65 and over , supplies and time permitting . Please be prepared to provide your Medicare card to the pharmacist . Seniors for Safe Driving one Day Refresher for previous participants October 18 , 2018 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM Shaler Township Municipal Building 300 Wetzel Road , rear entrance , 2nd floor Senator Randy Vulakovich is hosting the Seniors for Safe Driving course . This program is available for drivers 55 years of age and older . The benefits of taking the course are becoming a safer driver and receiving a minimum of 5 % discount on your auto insurance . No exam will be given and the course is classroom

Volunteer Fire Departments
Shaler Township Volunteer Fire Departments welcome new members to join . You do not have to fight fires to become a member . Training is free . Volunteer Fire Company members who qualify also receive up to a $ 300.00 credit on their Earned Income Tax if they live in a participating municipality .
