Join Oldies DJ Clint Stokes for a favorite classic night of doo-wop and the coolest cruise cars in a new location this summer. Plus a 50 / 50 raffle, hot dogs, and fun for all ages! No entrance fee or registration needed to bring your vintage car for everyone to admire.

Members of the Amateur Astronomers Association of Pittsburgh( 3AP) will guide you through an evening of celestial discoveries. Whether you’ re a seasoned stargazer or a curious beginner, come explore the cosmos; ask questions; and enjoy a fun, educational event for all ages. Bring your own equipment, lawn chairs, and snacks. Our Experience Kits are a great way to explore fascinating historic sites and museums in our area. 2026 sites include: Bushy Run Battlefield, Depreciation Lands Museum, Duncan & Miller Glass Museum, Fort McIntosh, Gibson House Manor, Heinz History Center( with Fort Pitt Museum and Meadowcroft), Historic Fort Steuben, Historic Harmony, Kerr Memorial Museum, and The Captain William Vicary Mansion. • NATIONAL GARDEN WEEK— Tuesday, June 9 at 6:00 p. m. Discover how easy it is to grow herbs without a garden. Take home a few plants, create your own herb-infused vinegar, make a lavender sachet and bouquet garni, and learn how to root cuttings in water. $ 30 per person fee. Registration limited and required.
• NATIONAL POLLINATOR WEEK— Wednesday, June 17 at 6:00 p. m. Celebrate with Leah Fulton, North Park Ranger at Latodami Nature Center, by learning about our diverse local native pollinators, the plants they rely on, and how we can make changes both small and large to support these important insects, birds, and more.
• GREAT GARDENS CONTEST— Enter your garden to be viewed by Shaler Garden Club members. Watch for entry details and deadline. Prizes will be awarded.
• 18th ANNUAL GREAT GARDENS TOUR— Sunday, July 12 from 11:00 a. m. to 4:00 p. m. Treat yourself to a walk through five spectacular local gardens which will delight your senses and inspire your creativity. Tickets are $ 20 in advance, $ 25 on tour day and are available at the library and online through registration.
