RESTROOM PROJECT UPDATE Installation of a new first-floor restroom kicked off in April. Expect your visit to be noisy, dusty, and with a possibility of limited parking. In the second phase, rehabilitated restrooms on the second floor will be reconfigured to be compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act( ADA) and energy efficient. We expect the project to be completed by August. We appreciate your patience as we work through this amazing project that will benefit so many. This project is supported by Shaler Township, the Commonwealth of PA, and donors like you. Star Party at Denny Field( 1198 Anderson Road)— Saturday, July 11 from 9:00 p. m. til midnight. Join us for a night under the stars with Shaler North Hills Library! Members of the Amateur Astronomers Association of Pittsburgh will be on hand to guide you through an evening of telescopic wonders and celestial discoveries. Whether you’ re a seasoned stargazer or a curious beginner, come explore the cosmos, ask questions, and enjoy a fun, educational event for all ages. Don’ t miss this chance to connect with fellow astronomy enthusiasts and marvel at the beauty of the night sky! Feel free to bring your own equipment, lawn chairs, and snacks. Members of the 3AP will be happy to help answer questions. No registration is needed.

Navigating Dementia: Insight for Caregivers— Wednesday, June 11 from 1:30 to 3:00 p. m. Presented in collaboration with Arden Courts Memory Care, this program will help families looking for ways to understand and care for a loved one with dementia. Presenter Rachael Wonderlin will provide valuable insights, practical strategies, and resources to help caregivers navigate the challenges of supporting their loved ones. Ms. Wonderlin is a dementia care consultant and gerontologist. She founded her consultancy, Dementia By Day, in 2014 and is the author of several books. Please register.
