The Shaler Area School District Board of Directors has appointed Karrie Dunn as Director of Human Resources for the Shaler Area School District. Ms. Dunn’ s high caliber professional experience spans education, healthcare, hospitality, and tech. She has served as Director of Human Resources for Wyndham Pittsburgh University Center as well as Cheeca Lodge and Spa. Most recently, she was Vice President of Human Resources for EdisonLearning.
“ The hiring of Ms. Dunn reflects the district’ s commitment to ensuring we have a strong, collaborative team working together for our students, and that our staff has their needs addressed,” shared Dr. Bryan O’ Black, Superintendent of Schools. Ms. Dunn will lead with insight and experience that will enable the Shaler Area team to work together even more strategically.
