BUILDING A BETTER RESERVE TOWNSHIP – CONSTRUCTION AND PAVING PROJECTS eserve RESERVE TOWNSHIP NEWS
We know it seems like there’ s construction going on constantly, but we’ re trying to build a better Township! Here are a few of the infrastructure projects happening now or in the near future in Reserve:
Township Projects:
• 2025 Road Paving – Contractor A. Folino Construction; paving Fleiner and Magnolia Streets.
• West Beckert Storm Sewer Improvements – Contractor: El Grande Industries; updating the old style catch basins at West Beckert and Magnolia and installing new storm sewers along Magnolia & Borough Streets.
• Lonsdale Sewer Separation – In design phase; this project will separate the sanitary and storm sewers on Lonsdale Street, in keeping with EPA / DEP mandates.
• Sewer CCTV – Contractor: Robinson Pipe; Allegheny County Health Department requires us to camera our complete sanitary sewer system every 10 years. This year’ s project will inspect 17,500 feet of sanitary sewer.
• Sanitary Sewer Linings – Contractor: Jet Jack; this project will reduce infiltration and inflow by lining 4,700 feet of sanitary sewer.
• Electric Hill Storm Sewer Improvements – In design phase; will include replacement and / or addition of 13 catch basins on Edison and Ohm Streets.
Other Projects:
• Haser Place Development: a 42 unit Ryan townhome neighborhood on Geyer Road with site development underway and home construction expected to start later this year.
• Allegheny County Public Works Projects: o Paving of Mt. Troy Road from the Ross Township line to Gardenview Drive( early fall). o Replacement of retaining wall on upper Spring Garden Road( should finish in September).
• Duquesne Light Projects: replacement of deteriorating poles throughout the Township( currently ongoing)
