143 DAY CELEBRATES KINDNESS AND CONNECTION
This year Shaler Area School District hosted the third-annual 143 Day of Kindness Event , a gathering honoring the legacy of Fred Rogers and fostering a culture of kindness , acceptance , and gratitude within the community . This special event invites K-6 students and their families to come together and embrace the values that define Shaler Area . It ’ s like a block party in a red cardigan . Whether exploring new artistic expressions , practicing mindfulness techniques , or discovering resources to support your child ’ s growth , there was something for everyone at this inclusive event . Together , participants created a feeling of positivity that extends far beyond this day , shaping a future where kindness and compassion are embedded in all we do .
