His background includes work with the International Film Exchange , including foreign language and documentary Academy Award winners .
Beck , a Mt . Lebanon resident who is both a CPA and an attorney , is principal at DB Consulting LLC . A specialist in nonprofit regulatory compliance , Beck generously shares her strategic and administrative insights with clients . Associated with the Pittsburgh Botanic Gardens and formerly CFO of the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy , she currently serves as an adjunct professor at the University of Pittsburgh ’ s Katz Business School . She was a financial officer for publicly traded companies such as Duquesne Light and American Eagle Outfitters , handling domestic and international issues . Her legal and accounting skills have assisted recreational , social and community services , private associations , veterans , education-driven and other groups .
After a competitive , national response for proposals , The Tull Family Theater chose Rival Creative as its marketing and branding firm . A young agency with a track record of working with high-profile clients , Rival partners Ben Reese , Brian Williams and Cynthia Caldwell have worked on campaigns , branding and digital strategies for such household entertainment names as Premier Boxing Champions , 20th Century Fox and Xbox . Their work spans technology , food and beverage , and retail sectors with clients such as HP , Dell , Club Med , Citibank , AT & T Wireless , T-Mobile , Microsoft , REI , Tanqueray and Whole Foods .
The Tull Family Theater , 418 Walnut Street , has two screening rooms and a multiuse space , the Esmark and Bouchard Family Community Room , for speakers and smallscale performances . ACCREDITATION PROMOTES PUBLIC TRUST , ENSURES PERMANENCE
Allegheny Land Trust was awarded a renewed accreditation on Aug . 17 by the Land Trust Accreditation Commission , signifying confidence in ALT ’ s ability to protect and manage land in perpetuity .
ALT was among 38 land trusts across the United States to achieve accreditation or to have accreditation renewed , and is one of only 350 accredited land trusts in the nation . There are approximately 1,700 land trusts in total throughout the country . Almost 15 million acres of farms , forests and natural areas vital to healthy communities – an area about the size of the state of West Virginia – are permanently conserved by an accredited land trust .
