Advertising Sales Executive for Magazine Publishing Group

Location: Remote. North and East Suburbs of Pittsburgh, PA.
Position Overview: The Advertising Sales Representative will be responsible for generating advertising revenue by identifying and securing new clients, maintaining relationships with existing advertisers, and promoting our magazine ' s advertising opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and target potential advertisers that align with our magazine ' s audience and content.
• Develop and present customized advertising proposals to prospective clients.
• Manage the sales process from initial contact through contract negotiation and ad placement.
• Maintain regular communication with current advertisers to ensure satisfaction and explore opportunities for upselling.
• Collaborate with the editorial and design teams to ensure ads are effectively integrated into the magazine.
• Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in advertising sales, preferably within the magazine or media industry.
• Strong understanding of advertising principles and sales strategies.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
• Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
• A network of existing client relationships is a plus.
Compensation:
• Competitive base salary with commission-based incentives.
